Students at Lodz University of Technology develop ultra-efficient vehicle prototypes

Students from the Iron Warriors team at the Lodz University of Technology have engineered two highly efficient prototype vehicles designed to maximize distance while minimizing energy consumption.

The combustion engine prototype achieved a remarkable 837 km on a single liter of fuel. The electric version demonstrated a range of 251 km per kWh. To reach these results, the team focused on three critical factors: extremely low vehicle mass, minimized aerodynamic drag, and a reliable powertrain.

Technical constraints for the project included the need for a very small driver, specifically under 158 cm in height, to maintain the vehicle's efficiency profile. The team has previously demonstrated their technology at international venues, including the Le Mans circuit in France.
