Students debate corruption and electoral security in Querétaro

Nine students from Querétaro and other Mexican states participated in the “10 Years of Sinergia” oratory contest, organized by Universidad Anáhuac Querétaro as part of its 2026 National Congress. The participants presented proposals and discussed critical national challenges, including corruption, the risk of organized crime influencing electoral processes, women's safety, and public opinion polarization.

Discussions also covered education and health policies, as well as the risks faced by children and adolescents due to the indiscriminate use of social media. Senator Agustín Dorantes Lámbarri served as a speaker and jury member, encouraging young people to critically analyze government actions and participate in community affairs to help solve national problems.

The judging panel included Eduardo Sarabia Sánchez, president of the Criminal Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Querétaro, along with representatives from Young Americas Business Trust and Diplomacia Activa.
