Students in Argentina and Chile advance robotics projects

Students from the Escuela de Educación Secundaria Técnica N.º 1 in América, Argentina, have qualified for the provincial stage of a robotics competition. Following a regional meeting in General Villegas, two specific projects advanced: a maze-solving robot developed by Hernán Cucurull and Valentino Herrera, and an electronic voting innovation project created by Valentina Rodríguez Barales and Enzo Machado Margutti.

In Chile, students from Liceo Pueblo Seco in San Ignacio are developing autonomous robotics projects through self-management and school support. The group successfully built an obstacle-avoiding robot using Arduino controllers and ultrasonic sensors, and they are currently working on a robotic arm. Their progress led to an invitation from the Faculty of Engineering at the Universidad del Biobío to visit their facilities in Concepción.
