Students in Borken and Wasserburg participate in local community activities
In Borken, elementary school students from Bad Zwesten and the Grundschule am Tor participated in a visit to the Gustav-Heinemann-Schule. The event featured five interactive stations designed to introduce students to the secondary school environment, including biology, music, library activities, creative arts, and food preparation. Tenth-grade students documented the visit for the school's public relations efforts.
In Wasserburg, students from Mittelschule Wasserburg conducted a large-scale cleanup operation. Students from grades five through ten collected litter, including plastic bottles, packaging, and cans, from the school surroundings, parking lots, and the Inn river area. Teachers noted a significant prevalence of cigarette butts during the cleanup, highlighting the environmental impact of plastic-based filters and encouraging more responsible waste disposal habits among the community.
