Students in Madhya Pradesh stop minister's convoy over school facility demands

Students from a government secondary school in Basrahi, located in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, intercepted the convoy of Dilip Ahirwar, the Minister of State for Forest and Environment. The students stopped the motorcade to demand a paved approach road, reliable electricity, and other essential school facilities.

Minister Ahirwar addressed the students' grievances and stated that the road project had been delayed because the proposed route crossed private land. He noted that discussions with the landowner have taken place and instructed the chief executive officer of the Janpad Panchayat to begin work. The minister assured the public that road construction would commence soon.
