Students in Samsun build electric vehicle from scrap
In the Çarşamba district of Samsun, a team of five students and two teachers from a private college has developed an electric vehicle using recycled scrap materials. The project, which has been in development for approximately one year, was realized through the school's own resources and assistance from local tradespeople.
The team aims to integrate advanced technologies into the vehicle, including artificial intelligence, autonomous parking, and voice command systems. Current capabilities include forward and backward movement and a braking system. Future development plans involve using a tablet to control headlights and horns, as well as implementing lane-keeping assistance.
Students working on the project stated they are currently working to increase the motor power from 1 kilowatt to 5 kilowatts. The team is seeking further support to advance the technological capabilities of the vehicle.
