Students in Turkey engage in hands-on agricultural learning

In the Altıntaş district of Kütahya, students at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Martyr Süleyman Turan Anatolian High School have participated in a practical agricultural program. Working in the school's agricultural workshop, students managed the entire production cycle—from soil preparation and planting to plant care—for crops including squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, sunflowers, onions, and lettuce.

Following the harvest, students processed their grown squash into a traditional dessert in the school dormitory kitchen. Local education officials noted that these activities, aligned with the 'Century of Türkiye Education Model,' aim to integrate learning with daily life, helping students develop responsibility, cooperation, and practical life skills through direct contact with nature and food production.
