Students mark the start of the 2026-2027 school year

The 2026-2027 school year has commenced, marking significant milestones for students at different educational stages. At the Lycée franco-équatorien La Condamine, senior students (Terminale) celebrated their final first day of school. Families and the educational community organized a special welcome to honor the start of this concluding year. Student Doménica Gallardo addressed her peers, encouraging them to reflect on their fourteen years at the institution and to approach their final year with solidarity and mutual support.

In France, the return to school also marks a major transition for toddlers entering kindergarten. At the École Sainte-Ursule de Dole, teacher Patricia Stehly manages the integration of young children aged two to three. To ease the emotional difficulty of separating from parents, the school allows the use of comfort objects like stuffed animals and pacifiers during the initial weeks to help students establish new routines and social connections.
