Studienkreis offers free primary school guide for parents

Studienkreis is offering a free guide titled ‘Kompass für die Grundschule’ (Compass for Primary School) to assist parents of primary school children during the start of the new school year. The brochure is designed to help families navigate challenges ranging from initial enrollment to the transition to secondary education.

The guide focuses on typical grade-level challenges, fostering student independence, and developing a joy for learning. To complement the physical brochure, Studienkreis has launched a dedicated website featuring an interview with pedagogue and family consultant Inke Hummel, along with instructional videos providing practical tips for daily school life.

Thomas Momotow of Studienkreis emphasized that the resource aims to provide orientation for parents, helping them support their children without creating undue pressure. The initiative also includes a giveaway of ten copies of Inke Hummel’s book, ‘Miteinander durch die Grundschule’.
