Studio 100 announces new cast for ‘40-45, de Musical’

Studio 100 has announced the new cast for the musical ‘40-45’, which will take the stage starting next season. The presentation took place at the Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld.

The new lead cast includes Susan Visser as Anna, the mother of brothers Louis and Dirk, and René van Kooten as Emiel, the father. Joep Paddenburg will play Louis, while Esmée Dekker takes on the role of Leah, Louis’s Jewish friend. Sanne Groenen, previously a dance captain and understudy, will now share the role of Marie with Niniane. Ruben van Keer has been named as an alternate for both Dirk and Louis.

Since its premiere in September 2024, the production has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors. Producer Gert Verhulst expressed confidence in the new lineup, stating that the group is well-equipped to continue telling the story with passion in the coming years.
