Studio Ghibli exhibition to debut in Singapore
An immersive exhibition titled ‘The Story of Studio Ghibli’ is scheduled to debut at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore on December 18, 2026. The event, which runs until July 4, 2027, will occupy a 3,500-square-meter space, making it the largest presentation of the studio’s work to date.
Produced by Tsukuru, Inc and M Experience with support from the Singapore Tourism Board, the exhibition will feature 12 life-sized, recreated scenes from iconic films. Featured works include ‘Spirited Away’, ‘My Neighbor Totoro’, ‘Princess Mononoke’, ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’, ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’, ‘Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind’, and ‘The Boy and the Heron’.
The experience will combine physical sets with interactive multimedia installations to allow visitors to engage with themes of creativity, resilience, and environmental stewardship. Educational initiatives and learning opportunities are also being developed to accompany the exhibition.
