Studio Ghibli immersive exhibition to premiere in Singapore

The immersive exhibition ‘The Story of Studio Ghibli’ is set to make its world premiere at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore on 18 December 2026. Spanning nearly 3,500 square metres, this will be the largest presentation of the exhibition to date.

Produced by TSUKURU, INC. and M Experience, and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, the event features 12 life-sized recreated worlds inspired by iconic films such as ‘My Neighbor Totoro’, ‘Spirited Away’, ‘Princess Mononoke’, and ‘The Boy and the Heron’. Highlights include an eight-metre-tall three-dimensional recreation of the bathhouse from ‘Spirited Away’ and encounters with characters like the Ohmu from ‘Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind’.

The exhibition utilizes interactive multimedia installations to transform familiar scenes into physical, walk-through experiences, aiming to engage both longtime fans and new audiences by exploring the artwork and production materials behind the studio's celebrated films.
