Studio Jadu launches to support independent animated series

Studio Jadu, a new animation studio backed by Khosla Ventures and Shakti VC, has officially launched to support independent creators and small teams in producing original animated series. Founded by Masoud Loghmani, a veteran of YouTube and TikTok monetization, the studio aims to bridge the gap between internet-native content and high-budget studio animation by providing infrastructure for production, distribution, and marketing.

A central component of the platform is AIDA (AI Director’s Assistant), an in-house production workbench. Unlike automated prompt-to-video generators, AIDA is designed as a creative assistant to help artists refine scripts and visions while maintaining full creative authority.

The studio utilizes an equitable revenue-sharing model and integrated fan features to help creators build sustainable franchises and fandoms. Studio Jadu has already established a subscriber base of over 2.5 million on YouTube and has opened applications for its Pioneer Program, specifically targeting independent artists and small teams, including those focused on anime-inspired projects.
