Studio Reset Unveils Supernatural Mystery Game “The Eventide”

Edmonton‑based Studio Reset, founded by former BioWare veterans Kaelin Lavallée, Kris Schoneberg and Francis Lacuna, announced its first project, a supernatural fixed‑camera 3D mystery adventure titled The Eventide. The game is set in a stylized Canadian neon‑noir city and employs a "Parallax Deduction" system that varies investigations based on the agents players select. Three agents are highlighted: Evelyn “Eve” Atwood, a cryptozoologist who uses scientific methods; Sam “Brass” Hingle, a former detective skilled in reading people; and Kira, who harnesses psychic and emotional abilities. Players will choose two agents from a larger roster to solve paranormal cases by comparing reports from multiple investigators. The Eventide is slated for PC release via Steam and is currently in early development.
