Studio Sonda wins Grand LIA for Piquentum Brut Nature design

Studio Sonda has won the Grand LIA in the Package Design category at the London International Awards (LIA) for its work on Piquentum Brut Nature. The project, titled ‘Label Created by the Wine Itself’, was developed for the organic sparkling wine produced in Istria.

The design process focused on authenticity by using the product's own components to create its packaging. During the secondary fermentation process, yeast sediment is typically removed; however, Studio Sonda utilized this sediment as a primary material for the label, mixing it with 10 percent paper pulp derived from winery waste.

The project first secured a gold award in the Beverages subcategory before being selected by the international jury in Las Vegas as the top winner in the overarching Package Design category.
