Studio Universal to air ‘Warfare’ action special

Studio Universal will broadcast the film ‘Warfare’ (Tempo de Guerra) as part of its Action Special this Sunday at 9 p.m. Produced by A24, the film is written and directed by Alex Garland in collaboration with former U.S. Marine Ray Mendoza.

The story follows a U.S. Navy SEAL platoon during a surveillance mission in insurgent-controlled Iraqi territory that escalates into a struggle for survival. The production aims for realism by incorporating Mendoza’s personal combat experiences from the Iraq War.
