Studiomood releases SH-1oh1 Control for Ableton Live

Studiomood has released SH-1oh1 Control, a Max for Live software editor and MIDI controller designed for the Tubbutec SH-1oh1 upgrade for the Roland SH-101 analog synthesizer. The tool allows users to edit, automate, and save all MIDI-controllable SH-1oh1 parameters directly within Ableton Live.

A central feature is the Mood Engine, a 24-preset system that enables users to create collections of related sound variations from a single starting point. This workflow is inspired by the AFX Mode, allowing for rapid sound evolution by copying presets and adjusting parameters such as cutoff, envelope, and accents.

The software provides control over various parameters, including an additional filter LFO with coarse and fine rate control, and velocity mapping for nine different targets. Users can also select clock sources for the arpeggiator and sequencer. The tool is available for Ableton Live Suite or Standard with Max for Live for €19.95.
