Study Studio reports 620,000 AI writing assessments via Stasuta Apps

Study Studio has announced that its English proficiency learning service, Stasuta Apps, has surpassed 620,000 cumulative uses of its AI-powered writing assessment tool. The data, recorded between January 2025 and September 2026, shows a significant surge in usage leading up to official Eiken examinations, with usage increasing between 3.1 and 5.1 times in the 28 days prior to previous exam dates.

To support upcoming testing cycles, the company has expanded its practice materials by adding 18 new opinion-based essay questions across all six Eiken levels. These new resources, which include hints for developing reasons and exercises for rewriting drafts, are available for free. The service aims to help learners improve the specificity of their arguments and the structure of their writing through AI-driven feedback.
