Stulln Mayor Christoph Scharf meets with District Administrator Thomas Ebeling
Christoph Scharf, the newly elected mayor of Stulln, conducted an inaugural visit to Schwandorf District Administrator Thomas Ebeling to discuss regional development and local challenges.
Scharf succeeded Hans Prechtl, who served for 24 years, after winning the election with 51.1% of the vote. During the meeting, the officials addressed several key issues facing the municipality, including a tight financial situation that necessitates critical future investments. Specific topics of discussion included the development of the former Fluorchemie site and the ongoing construction of a second water pipeline from Schwarzenfeld.
Scharf outlined his goals to maintain the community's attractiveness by strengthening economic conditions, supporting local clubs, the fire department, and volunteers, and creating housing opportunities for young families. Both Ebeling and Scharf emphasized the importance of close cooperation between the district and the municipality to address shared challenges with minimal bureaucracy.
