Stupid Never Dies set for global launch on Oct 21, 2026 with SEGA co‑publishing

GPTRACK50, an independent studio founded by former Capcom veterans and led by Hiroyuki Kobayashi, announced that its debut action‑RPG Stupid Never Dies will release worldwide on 21 October 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam). SEGA will act as co‑publisher, handling distribution across all regions.

The game follows a timid zombie named Davy who ventures through monster‑filled dungeons to rescue a frozen human girl, Julia. Players can absorb defeated foes’ abilities, upgrade Davy with “Overtech” body parts, and unleash a rhythm‑driven “Davy Burst” attack. A new trailer spotlights the mysterious entity Phoenix Zaza Hotfeathers.

Two editions will be available: a standard version priced at $49.99 (≈ €49.99) and a “Glorious Idiot Edition” at $59.99 that bundles the first DLC, TickTock Teddies: Nonsense Overload Pack, adding five visual‑audio “teddy” modifiers. The opening and ending theme tracks will be released on 4 August on major streaming services.
