Sturgis Motorcycle Rally features women's cross‑country rides and American Legion veteran event
Two nationwide women’s motorcycle rides will conclude at the 2026 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The Women Riders World Relay, led by co‑founder Liza Miller and long‑distance rider Wendy Crockett, follows a 13,000‑plus‑mile coast‑to‑coast route spelling “WRWR 2026.” Shantell Williams’ Sisterhood Ride travels from Florida to South Dakota, honoring pioneering rider Bessie Stringfield. Both rides end at Pearl’s Jam on Aug. 10, an event at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame that includes rider presentations, book signings and activities celebrating the museum’s 25th anniversary.
Harley‑Davidson’s Military & First Responders Day on Aug. 11 adds an American Legion Drive 4 Freedom Humvee activation at the rally’s main point. Attendees can view a restored military Humvee, receive a free pancake breakfast, pick up limited‑edition America 250 challenge coins, and watch a patriotic flyover honoring veterans and first responders.
