Sturla Holm Lægreid debuts as rock guitarist in Oslo

Norwegian Olympic biathlon champion Sturla Holm Lægreid recently made his debut as a musician, performing on electric guitar with the band Electric Socks at a concert in Oslo. Lægreid described the experience as a lifelong dream, noting the excitement of performing for a full house of family and friends.

To match his rock persona for the performance, Lægreid had intentionally grown his hair long. While teammates like Johan-Olav Botn expressed support for the new look, others, including Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen, suggested he might consider a shorter style similar to footballer Erling Braut Haaland. Lægreid has since decided to cut his hair back to a normal length for the upcoming biathlon season.
