Sturm der Liebe introduces new lead actors for 23rd season
The ARD telenovela ‘Sturm der Liebe’ is preparing for its 23rd season, which is set to premiere in November. The new season introduces a central romantic pairing between characters Emilia and Massimo, played by Pippa Fee Rupperti and Jaime Ferkic.
The storyline involves a complicated history between the two characters, as Massimo is currently in a relationship with Emilia’s sister, Olivia. Rupperti, a former ensemble member at the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, described her character, the impulsive DJane Emilia, as an ‘emotional rollercoaster.’ Ferkic, known for roles in ‘Tatort’ and ‘Das Traumschiff,’ noted that his character Massimo will bring significant tension to the Fürstenhof.
Additionally, the production has cast veteran German actress Daniela Ziegler in a recurring role. Ziegler, who has a career spanning nearly five decades including appearances in ‘Tatort’ and ‘Ein Fall für zwei,’ makes her debut in the series in episode 4633. The new season will also feature a newly opened club, introducing new musical elements to the long-running series.
