Stuttgart Airport suspends flights following police operation

Flight operations at Stuttgart Airport were temporarily suspended early in the evening due to a police operation. The Federal Police and airport authorities reported that terminals were evacuated and both arrivals and departures were halted while the affected areas were searched.

Following the search, authorities confirmed that no danger was present. Flight operations and passenger security controls are being resumed gradually. However, because the security areas were cleared, all passengers must undergo new security screenings, which is expected to cause delays for several hours as operations normalize.
