Stuttgart hosts seasonal light events in November 2026

Stuttgart will host two distinct light-themed events in November 2026. On November 7, the ‘Stuttgart leuchtet’ event will take place at the Eckensee in the Oberer Schlossgarten. Starting around 19:00, hot air balloons will be illuminated using CO2-neutral bio-propane gas to the rhythm of music.

On November 8, the Wilhelma zoo will conclude its ‘Wilden Wochenenden’ series with a lantern parade. The day begins with a lantern-making workshop at the Wilhelma School from 11:00 to 17:00, where participants can create animal-themed lanterns. The parade itself is scheduled to start at 17:30, moving through the historical park section of the zoo.
