Stuttgart Schriftstellerhaus launches new literary series

The Stuttgarter Schriftstellerhaus has launched its new event series, ‘Stuttgart schreibt’ (Stuttgart Writes), marking its first major public appearance since 2019. The initiative features a rejuvenated board, including Alice Vakhitova and Robin Ackermann, aiming to introduce fresh formats to the local literary scene.

The series opened with a discussion titled ‘Fiese Krise – und die Literatur?’ (Nasty Crisis – and Literature?), featuring contributions from Nora Bosson and Simon Strauss. While the event included a sound collage by a young artist collective, the academic nature of the keynote presentations received mixed reactions from the audience.
