Red Bull is hosting its premier urban downhill mountain bike race, the Red Bull Cerro Abajo, in Stuttgart, Germany, on September 5 and 6, 2026. This marks the first time the international series is coming to the country.

The race course is approximately 1.2 kilometers long, featuring a 130-meter elevation drop through the city's unique topography. The track begins at the Weißenburgpark tea house and winds through the Bopser-Brünnle, Carola-Blume-Anlage, and Heusteigviertel, concluding at Wilhelmsplatz. Riders can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h while navigating stairs, cobblestones, and jumps.

The competition follows a time trial format. Thirty-five riders will participate in a qualification round, with the top 15 advancing to the final. Local German rider Johannes Fischbach is among the competitors. Admission to the event is free, and the race will be livestreamed on Red Bull TV and YouTube.
