Style District 2026 launched to support youth fashion entrepreneurs
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, through the Youth Development Centre and in collaboration with Aewon Garment Sdn Bhd, has launched Style District 2026. This creative platform is designed to connect youth entrepreneurs in the fashion and textile sectors with industry experts and the creative community.
Scheduled to take place from September 28 to 30, 2026, at Mawaddah Hall 1 in Setia Point, the event coincides with the 21st National Youth Day celebrations. The initiative aims to facilitate a transition for trainees and graduates of Fashion Design Technology from workshop-based learning to real-world business experience. The platform allows participants to test ideas, develop products, build portfolios, and increase sales while networking with industry professionals.
The three-day event features a marketplace, fashion exhibitions, and creative skills workshops, focusing on helping young entrepreneurs transform technical skills into commercial brands.
