Sué Adriana Laínez Castro to lecture on colonial philology in Mendoza

Philologist and researcher Sué Adriana Laínez Castro will deliver a lecture in Mendoza regarding the importance of triple-philological publication in colonial studies. The presentation focuses on critical methodology for recovering Hispanic American literary heritage.

Laínez Castro, a doctoral candidate at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, will discuss her research on reconstructing the Honduran cultural imaginary through textual criticism and the editing of works. Her specific case study involves the work of Antonio de Paz y Salgado, which remained lost for two centuries.
