Argentina regional updates: Jujuy infrastructure and social programs

Various regional developments are occurring across Argentina. In Jujuy, the province is reinforcing its strategic role in the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor, a key South American integration axis, during the XIX Argentine Transit and Road Congress. The Provincial Agency of the Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor highlighted the importance of the Jama Pass and the need for infrastructure improvements to boost connectivity.

Social programs are also seeing updates. In Río Negro, the 'Familias Rionegrinas Solidarias' program has grown to include 36 children in foster care supported by 74 registered families. In Entre Ríos, the 'Su+ Autonomía' program marks its second anniversary, providing tools for adolescents and young people without parental care to achieve independence through education and labor training.

In Jujuy, the government is participating in the MAPA 2026 Network to support adolescent parents, while the Ministry of Human Development continues support groups for families of people with disabilities. Additionally, the Parliament of Greater Jujuy met in Palpalá to coordinate regional issues such as public transport and environmental care.
