Su Bin Joo ties for second in LPGA CPKC Women's Open second round

Su Bin Joo moved into a tie for second place during the second round of the LPGA CPKC Women's Open at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton, Alberta. Joo shot a bogey-free 7-under-par 63, recording seven birdies to reach a total of 9-under-par 131.

Joo shares the second position with Yuri Yoshida and Kiara Romero, trailing leader Miyu Yamashita by five strokes. This performance marks a significant climb for Joo, who sat tied for 21st after the first round.

Other notable performances include Lee So-mi, who sits tied for 12th at 6-under-par, and Kim Sei-young at 4-under-par in 21st place. World number one Nelly Korda recorded an even-par 70, placing her in 29th position.
