Su Chiao-hui responds to allegations of involvement in Chang Shu-chuan case

Su Chiao-hui, a Democratic Progressive Party candidate for New Taipei City Mayor, has responded to allegations from Chang Shu-chuan, who accused Su of being an accomplice in a past bullying incident. Chang, a former Miss China, has publicly expressed distress over damage to her reputation, claiming Su supported the media narrative that led to the controversy.

Su Chiao-hui stated that she has never commented on the private affairs of any individuals involved. However, media commentator Wu Tzu-chia criticized this response, arguing that Su is attempting to distance herself from the situation and should instead apologize to Chang.

Additionally, the campaign office for Lee Tzu-hsien has criticized Su's lack of accountability, noting that Su remained silent on the matter for two days while focusing on recent polling results. The Lee campaign also highlighted recent polling data suggesting Lee holds a stable lead of over 6% in New Taipei City.
