Subaru celebrates two millionth vehicle delivery at Port of Vancouver USA

The Port of Vancouver USA and Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) celebrated the arrival of the two millionth Subaru vehicle delivered through the port on August 14, 2026. The milestone marks over three decades of partnership between the manufacturer and the port.

To strengthen their long-term relationship, the two entities recently extended their partnership through 2040. This agreement includes expanding Subaru’s leasehold from 40 to 43 acres. The port serves as a critical logistics hub, with approximately 2,000 vehicles arriving from Japan each week. In 2023, the port saw a record delivery of more than 98,000 Subaru vehicles.

Local operations involve unloading vessels, installing accessories at an on-site facility, and preparing vehicles for transport. Approximately 80% of the arriving vehicles are distributed via rail, while the remaining 20% travel by truck to markets as far east as Ohio.
