Subaru Crosstrek expands market presence with new trims and collaborations

Subaru is highlighting different aspects of its Crosstrek compact SUV across international markets. In the United Kingdom, the Crosstrek Touring trim is positioned as a rugged, all-weather vehicle. It features a 2.0-litre Boxer four-cylinder petrol engine with a mild-hybrid system and a Lineartronic CVT, producing approximately 134–136PS. The model is noted for its permanent all-wheel-drive system and high ground clearance, making it suitable for uneven or slippery surfaces.

In Australia, Subaru has released a limited-edition Crosstrek AWD Rip Curl Special Edition. Developed in partnership with the surf brand Rip Curl, this Australia-only edition includes surf-inspired accessories such as Thule cross bars, surf pads, and unique branding. The special edition is priced at $41,490 drive-away and includes various functional upgrades like weather shields, mud guards, and specialized seat protectors.
