Subaru E-Outback begins pre-orders in Taiwan
Subaru has opened pre-orders for the E-Outback in Taiwan, marking the brand's second pure electric vehicle in the market following the Solterra. The E-Outback is built on a dedicated electric vehicle platform and is positioned as a versatile crossover between a station wagon and an SUV.
The vehicle features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that delivers a combined output of 375 horsepower, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. This performance makes it the fastest production vehicle in Subaru's current lineup. The model is equipped with a 74.7 kWh lithium battery pack, with overseas WLTP range figures cited at approximately 443 km.
Designed for both daily use and light off-road capability, the E-Outback includes Subaru's X-MODE technology to assist with low-traction surfaces such as mud or gravel. The vehicle measures 4,845mm in length with a 2,850mm wheelbase, offering increased interior space compared to its internal combustion predecessors. In Taiwan, the pre-order price starts at 1.788 million TWD.
