Subaru launches Uncharted electric SUV with up to 343 hp

Japanese automaker Subaru announced three new fully electric models built on its dedicated EV platform, aiming to add seven EVs to its lineup within two years. The centerpiece is the Uncharted SUV, offered with three powertrains. The top version delivers 343 horsepower, 0‑100 km/h in five seconds, and a quoted range of up to 500 km. Prices start at €33,000 for the entry model and rise to €42,500 for the most powerful trim. The vehicle features all‑wheel drive, a low centre of gravity thanks to batteries integrated into the chassis, fast charging (10 % to 80 % in under 30 minutes), and a spacious interior with premium equipment such as heated seats, panoramic roof and Harman Kardon audio.

Subaru highlighted that the EV architecture is shared with Toyota, providing reliability and scalability for future models, and reaffirmed its commitment to four‑wheel‑drive capability and off‑road performance in its electric offerings.
