Subaru launches Uncharted, its second, lower‑priced electric SUV
Subaru announced the launch of the Uncharted, its second battery‑electric SUV, slated for delivery in June 2026. Priced at €36,990, the Uncharted reduces the entry cost to Subaru’s EV range by €9,000 compared with the refreshed Solterra.
The five‑door, five‑seat model is 4.53 m long and offers a 400‑liter cargo capacity. It is available in three powertrains: a front‑wheel‑drive version with 123 kW (167 hp) and a 57.7 kWh battery delivering a WLTP range of 451 km; a higher‑output front‑wheel‑drive with 165 kW (224 hp) and a 77 kWh pack for 592 km; and an all‑wheel‑drive variant that adds a rear‑axle motor for a combined 252 kW (343 hp) but a reduced range of 495 km. Top speeds are limited to 140 km/h for the base model and 160 km/h for the others, while the all‑wheel‑drive can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 5.0 seconds. AC charging is standard at up to 22 kW, with fast‑charging capped at 150 kW.
