Subhash Ghai announces film Manya starring Shreyas Talpade

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has announced his upcoming film, ‘Manya’, to mark his 50th year in Indian cinema. The announcement included the release of a first-look poster featuring lead actor Shreyas Talpade. The poster was unveiled on October 24 to coincide with the 48th anniversary of Ghai’s production house, Mukta Arts.

Directed by Sameer Joshi, ‘Manya’ tells the sensitive story of a juvenile offender, focusing on the human emotions and circumstances behind the crime rather than just the criminal acts. This project marks a reunion for Ghai and Talpade, who previously worked together on the 2005 sports drama ‘Iqbal’. The film also features Samvedna Suwalka, Divya Dutta, Priyadarshini Puja, and Zoheb Farooqui.

In addition to ‘Manya’, Ghai is working on other projects, including ‘Khalnayak Returns’ with Sanjay Dutt and a courtroom drama featuring Anil Kapoor.
