Subhash Ghai shares Sant Kabir-inspired note on coping with stress

Indian film director‑producer Subhash Ghai posted on Instagram a picture of saint‑poet Sant Kabir, urging readers to turn to Kabir’s couplets for peace during stressful times. In his note he highlighted Kabir’s birth near Varanasi, his upbringing in a Muslim weaver family, his apprenticeship under Hindu ascetic Ramananda, and his criticism of both Hindu and Islamic practices.

Ghai, known for movies such as Umang and Ghumrah and his last feature Kanchi: The Unbreakable (2014), also directed the short documentary Gandhi – A Perspective (2020). He is currently focusing on his acting institute. The post attracted many comments and widespread appreciation online.
