Subiaco stabbing: 37-year-old woman arrested for attempted homicide

In the rural outskirts of Subiaco on the night of July 25‑26, Carabinieri responding to an emergency call found a woman in distress and a 43‑year‑old man lying on the ground with a severe shoulder wound. Police recovered a 10‑centimetre knife at the scene. The victim was taken first to Subiaco's emergency department and later transferred to the Umberto I Hospital in Rome, where he remains under medical observation.

A 37‑year‑old local woman was detained on suspicion of attempted homicide. She was transferred to Rome's Rebibbia women’s prison pending a validation hearing. Authorities continue the investigation, and the woman is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
