Sublime agency updates legal action against malicious content targeting Hyeri

Sublime, the agency representing singer and actress Hyeri, has provided an update regarding its ongoing legal campaign against cyberbullying, defamation, and online harassment. The agency stated that legal proceedings initiated in October 2024 have resulted in concrete outcomes, including recognized criminal charges and the imposition of monetary fines.

According to the agency, the legal actions stem from evidence collected through internal monitoring and reports from fans. The charges include violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, as well as insult and sexual harassment. Depending on the severity of the conduct, cases have either resulted in fines or have been referred for prosecution.

Sublime emphasized a zero-tolerance policy, stating they will continue to pursue strong legal action without leniency or settlements to protect the rights and interests of their artist.
