Submer and ACES partner to expand AI data centre capacity in Saudi Arabia

Submer, an AI infrastructure provider, and Saudi Arabia-based digital infrastructure company ACES have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to expand AI-ready data centre capacity in Saudi Arabia. The partnership aims to address the increasing demands of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing workloads by rolling out high-density data centres across the Kingdom.

The collaboration will cover the entire project lifecycle, including facility planning consultancy, the design and construction of new or retrofitted sites, and IT integration for compute and networking systems. A key focus of the agreement involves thermal and power systems, specifically utilizing advanced liquid and immersion cooling technologies to manage rising rack densities.

Under the agreement, Submer will provide engineering and technological expertise, while ACES will manage local delivery, infrastructure services, and investment. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital and AI agenda, seeking to provide facilities specifically engineered for dense AI workloads from the outset.
