Submer to discuss sovereign AI infrastructure at DCD Connect MENA

Submer, a provider of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data center infrastructure, will participate in the DCD Connect | MENA 2026 event in Dubai on October 26–27. The company will join a panel titled ‘Building Sovereign AI: Enabling Innovation Through Scalable Compute’ to address the infrastructure needs of the Middle East.

As regional governments and organizations accelerate sovereign AI and cloud strategies, the discussion will focus on the necessity of building high-performance computing infrastructure capable of supporting complex AI workloads. Key topics include meeting regulatory requirements, scaling efficiently, and maintaining commercial viability. The panel will also examine the trade-offs between fully localized and hybrid infrastructure models to help the region develop a sovereign-ready compute backbone.
