Suceava Museum launches educational stone-art project for children

The Museum of Natural Sciences in Suceava is launching a new educational project titled ‘The Museum of Natural Sciences in Children's Imagination – Stones Come to Life’ this autumn. Although the museum is temporarily closed, it is hosting workshops at the Bucovina Village Museum to engage children through creative activities.

The program focuses on geology and ethnography, allowing children to observe various rocks and minerals to learn about Earth's history. Participants will then use stones as a canvas to draw traditional Bucovinian houses, landscapes, and decorative motifs inspired by the local folk architecture.
