Suchart Chomklin mourns after fatal shooting of Nonthaburi PAO President

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Suchart Chomklin, has expressed deep condolences to the families of Chalong Riewrang and Thongchai Yenprasert following a fatal shooting incident. Chalong Riewrang, a former multi-term Member of Parliament for Nonthaburi, shot and killed Thongchai Yenprasert, the President of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization.

Suchart noted that he has known both men for a long time, describing them as senior politicians with whom he had worked closely. While acknowledging that they had experienced political competition and disagreements in the past, Suchart stated that such conflicts should have concluded once elections were over. He noted that he was unaware of any significant personal issues or debt disputes between the two, suggesting the motive may stem from private matters unknown to him. He emphasized that such a violent outcome should not have occurred between long-time political colleagues.
