Sud Chiama Nord appoints new commissioners for Foggia and Bari
The political movement Sud Chiama Nord has appointed new commissioners to strengthen its presence in the Puglia region. Miriam Ventura has been named city commissioner for Foggia, while Filippo Ferrara will serve as the city commissioner for Bari.
During a press conference attended by national president Laura Castelli, the new appointees outlined their primary objectives. Ventura intends to focus on disability rights, proposing a permanent scientific and consultative body to improve services, specifically addressing the centralization of autism therapies in Lucera. Ferrara aims to reorganize the territory and rebuild community engagement to counter political stagnation.
Other priorities mentioned include addressing youth unemployment and improving local infrastructure to create new job opportunities and social spaces. The movement is currently undergoing a membership drive as part of a broader strategy to expand its influence ahead of the 2027 political elections.
