Sudan Foreign Minister Muhyiddin Salim Calls Turkey Strategic Ally at Ankara Embassy Groundbreaking
Sudan’s Foreign Minister Muhyiddin Salim travelled to Ankara for the foundation‑laying ceremony of a new Sudanese embassy building. During the event he said the construction would deepen "the strategic partnership" between Sudan and Turkey, describing Turkey as Sudan’s strategic ally.
Salim also warned that the Sudanese government would not negotiate with the Rapid Support Forces, labeling the militia a terrorist group. He highlighted the role of Turkish companies in Sudan’s reconstruction and thanked the Turkish authorities for their support. The ceremony was attended by Sudan’s Ambassador to Turkey Nadir Yousif Eltayeb, Dr. Amgad Fareid Eltayeb, and other diplomatic representatives, and featured a Qur’an recitation and the national anthems of both countries.
