Sudan governance aims to transition from political slogans to concrete stabilization

The concept of a ‘founding government’ in Sudan aims to move beyond political slogans and power-sharing agreements toward concrete solutions for citizens. This approach seeks to end centralized hegemony and address historical grievances through the practical redistribution of resources for development and humanitarian aid.

A key component of the ‘New Sudan’ Charter involves reorienting budget priorities from conflict management to stabilization projects. This includes the rehabilitation of essential infrastructure, such as electrical grids, water stations, and hospitals in conflict-affected areas.

Additionally, the initiative focuses on food security by supporting local agricultural and pastoral producers. By facilitating access to inputs and opening markets, the plan aims to secure food supply chains and create immediate employment opportunities for young people.
