Sudaryanto appointed as new Pangdam IV/Diponegoro

Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi attended a handover ceremony for the leadership of the Kodam IV/Diponegoro Military Regional Command on Monday, October 19, 2026. The ceremony marked the transition of command from Major General Achiruddin Darojat to Major General Sudaryanto.

During the event, Governor Luthfi emphasized the importance of maintaining synergy and collaboration between the regional government and the military command. He noted that Kodam IV/Diponegoro serves as a strategic partner in maintaining security, driving development, and improving public welfare through initiatives such as village development, food security, infrastructure projects, and disaster management.

Luthfi highlighted that regional stability is essential for attracting investment, noting that Central Java’s economic growth has reached 5.8 percent, exceeding the national average, while the poverty rate has decreased to 9.21 percent. Achiruddin Darojat, who has moved to a new role as Deputy Territorial Assistant to the Commander of the TNI, credited these achievements to the collaboration of the regional leadership and the local community.
