Sudhir Dalvi receives financial aid from Bollywood actors for medical expenses
Veteran actor Sudhir Dalvi, recognized for his role in ‘Shirdi Ke Sai Baba’, received financial support from several Bollywood actors following a severe health crisis. His wife, Suhas Dalvi, stated that Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Kartik Aaryan were among the first to provide assistance when the family struggled to meet rising medical bills.
Dalvi was hospitalized in October 2025 due to life-threatening sepsis, which caused complications affecting his joints and mobility. His medical expenses reportedly exceeded 15 lakh rupees. In December 2025, the Bombay High Court authorized the Shree Saibaba Sansthan Trust to donate 11 lakh rupees toward his treatment costs.
Dalvi has since returned home and is in the process of recovery, though he currently requires a walker for mobility and experiences some disorientation.
